A GAMAID mentorship gathering
The need

Why itmatters.

Most of what keeps a person on track after training is not money.

It is someone who notices when they are drifting, and a room of people who have already made the mistakes.

Skills can be learned in a classroom. Resilience, direction, and the ability to keep going when the business is not working yet: those come from relationships. From someone who has been where you are. From a community that tells you the truth and shows up the following month to ask how it went.

GAMAID Mentorship exists because we have watched people complete our training programmes and then drift, not for lack of skill, but for lack of accompaniment. That gap is what this programme was built to close.

What we do

How the programmeworks.

6 parts to GAMAID Mentorship

  1. Counselling and coaching

Business counselling, motivational coaching, and money-management mentoring for GAMAID beneficiaries, working through the specific pressures that come with building something from nothing, often without family support.

  2. Kingdom Business Breakfast Meeting (KBBM)

A monthly gathering of Christian business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Prayer, strategic business teaching, testimonies, and real-table networking, for people who want to build a business and a life that reflects their faith.

  3. Young people’s mentorship

One-on-one and group mentorship for students and young people referred by schools, churches, and other GAMAID programmes, covering career direction, decision-making, personal finances, and navigating young adulthood.

  4. Volunteer and intern development

Practical skills, encouragement, and mentorship for the people who serve with GAMAID, building the capacity of those who give their time, not just those who receive.

  5. Professional mentors pool

A growing network of young professionals across law, medicine, engineering, pharmacy, finance, education, and business who give their time to walk alongside GAMAID beneficiaries and students.

  6. Partnerships

With schools, businesses, faith communities, and other NGOs, to share opportunities, widen the mentorship pool, and connect people to doors that would otherwise be closed.

Fund mentorship

Every gift hereis spent on mentorship.

Every gift to mentorship is spent on mentorship. When you give to GAMAID Mentorship, you are covering the cost of a meeting room, a facilitator’s time, printed materials, or the follow-up calls that nobody sees but that make all the difference.

Card, bank transfer or USSD in naira; dollars or pounds from abroad; PayPal, Zelle or GoFundMe from the US.

We will show what a gift pays for once the costs are confirmed against our records.

In their own words.

  • The KBBM has been more than a meeting. It is a room where I can say what is not working and not feel judged for it. The people around that table want to see each other grow.
