Ibim Jaja, GAMAID Beneficiary

My name is Ibim Jaja. I am thirty years old, and I live here in Uyo.
I just started working in a village and where I stay, we do not have a market nearby. The closest one is in another community, so anytime I needed to buy foodstuff, I had to travel and buy everything I needed in one go, then manage it till the next market day.

The real problem was storage. I did not have a fridge. So whatever I cooked, I had to keep warming it morning, afternoon and night; don’t forget the transport of going to a distant market. I wondered how I was going to manage in this new place without a fridge.

I got to know about GAMAID Foundation through my church. From the first time we spoke, I could see these people were serious. They were not just making promises for the sake of it. They actually listened, and they followed up.

Early this year, in 2025, they delivered on everything they said. They got me a fridge, something worth over ₦300,000. I cannot even explain how I felt that day.

Now I am able to properly plan my meals without fear of spoilage.
What GAMAID Foundation did for me is not something I will forget.

GAMAID struck again. This time it was GAMAID Garments. In my new place of work, I’m required to dress up properly as an admin and using my salary for clothes was definitely out of the question so I went straight to GAMAID Garments to see what they had for me. They provide beautiful clothes that I wear confidently to my office

May God continue to bless the Foundation and everybody supporting the work they are doing. Thank you, I am grateful.
