Before joining the training programs offered by the GAMAID Foundation in April 2022, my experience in graphic design was quite limited — I could only create basic designs using Canva. However, through the foundation’s comprehensive training initiatives, I was able to significantly enhance my skills. I learned to use professional graphic design tools such as Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, Affinity Publisher, and Adobe Illustrator. Beyond just creating social media thumbnails, I also acquired skills in typesetting and formatting booklets, which has proven incredibly valuable.

In addition to graphic design, I received hands-on training in audio editing and sound design. Using Adobe Audition as my primary tool, I mastered techniques like noise reduction, applying sound effects, and creatively enhancing audio by layering music beds and soundscapes — transforming simple scripts into compelling audio presentations.

This year marked a significant breakthrough in my video editing journey. I began by learning the basics with Wondershare Filmora, then advanced through formal training in Adobe Premiere Pro. Eventually, I transitioned to DaVinci Resolve, which I now use to edit full-length videos, craft trailers, produce social media reels, and create a wide range of promotional video content.

Thanks to the GAMAID Foundation, I’ve been empowered with real, income-generating skills that have opened doors I never imagined possible.
