Shelter, Sustenance, and Renewed Hope (August 2023 – Present)

Before GAMAID Foundation intervened, my life teetered on the edge of desperation. A severe housing crisis left me without stable shelter, and the constant fear that my circumstances could spiral into dangerous situations haunted me daily. The absence of a safe haven made vulnerability my unwelcome companion.

From August 2023 onward, GAMAID’s comprehensive support became my lifeline. They provided not just shelter but holistic care: consistent job placement assistance, secure housing, and essential nutrition. Their commitment materialized in tangible ways—₦4,000 monthly rent support throughout 2023-2024, increased to ₦7,000 in 2025. Beyond this, they gifted me nourishing staples from their farms: sacks of rice, golden garri, protein-rich chicken, and crisp eggs. These were far more than provisions; they were God’s grace delivered through human hands.

This intervention transformed my existence. Without shelter, I faced impossible choices—potentially living with unrelated individuals and risking exploitative relationships. Instead, GAMAID gave me safety to rebuild my dignity. Their job support empowered me to earn independently, purchase food, and reclaim self-sufficiency.

Today, I stand in profound gratitude to God for this ministry and its compassionate servants. Your help—physical (rent, food, employment) and spiritual (prayers, emotional care)—lifted me when darkness closed in. Thank you for choosing me, for seeing my need, and for embodying Christ’s love in action. May God abundantly bless every supporter and sustain GAMAID’s mission to light broken pathways.
