On 17th November 2024, I was involved in a car accident that nearly broke one of the bones in my neck. An x-ray was conducted, and a soft neck collar was immediately placed to provide support and prevent further damage. The initial diagnosis by a Consultant Neurosurgeon was a C-7 fracture, so I was asked to do a CT scan to confirm the extent of the injury. Since the public hospital lacked the facilities, I was taken to a private hospital where such scans were available but expensive. Thankfully, the CT scan showed there was no fracture, only a strained muscle and tissue damage. I was then placed on medication and fitted with a rigid cervical collar to aid recovery. GAMAID paid my hospital bills, purchased both soft and rigid cervical collars, bore the cost of the CT scan, and provided care throughout my recovery. I am deeply grateful to GAMAID for their provision, support, and the exceptional care I received during that period.

After my accident, my faith was shaken. I sustained a complete femoral fracture, underwent surgery, and faced life on crutches with little hope. A bad reaction during my first surgery nearly cost me my life, but I was held up by prayer. Through GAMAID’s prayers, care, and financial support, I found joy and strength again. They were my legs when I couldn’t walk—running hospital errands, staying by my side, and even providing shelter for over five months after my discharge. What should have been a year-long recovery on crutches became just 6–7 months without pain or complications. God worked a miracle in my healing, and GAMAID played a vital role. For that, I am deeply grateful.

My short stay there was fun filled, as the members of their staff helped me through my pains. After the fracture was healed, I had difficulties moving my knee for a long time. I felt discouraged, that I'll never be able to walk again. But the GAMAID staff were always there to encourage me and pray for me. Now, I'm able to walk on my feet again. I'm grateful for the love and support from GAMAID.

I was hospitalized for several weeks and remained completely unable to walk during that period, leading to my profound dependence on others for essential needs such as my physical hygiene and feeding. After my surgery, they provided me with a walking aid to assist my mobility, and also sent financial support while I was recovering at home. I’m truly grateful to GAMAID for standing by me during one of the toughest times of my life. Their kindness, generosity, and unwavering support made all the difference, and I’ll always cherish the love they showed me.
